To connect your Windows computer to the GlobalProtect Virtual Private Network please follow these steps:
Open your web browser and navigate to vpn.upenn.edu. Login with your PennKey username and PennKey password.
You will be re-directed to the GlobalProtect portal page. Choose the correct option for your computer, select Download Windows 32 bit or Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent.
Once selected, your file will download. Once it is finished, click on the GlobalProtect32.msi or GlobalProtect64.msi file.
A new window will open. From here, select Next.
Then click Next to proceed in the default folder.
Confirm the installation and select Next to install.
Once the installation is successful, Close the install window.
After the installation is done, a globe will appear in the System Tray (located at the bottom right of the screen).
Click on the globe and type in vpn.upenn.edu as the portal address. Click Connect.
Login with your PennKey username and PennKey password to authenticate.
You are now connected to the GlobalProtect VPN.
